This was our second annual trip to New York City for Evolution 6, an international bboy competition. It seems like we've started a tradition, and will probably end up going again next year. It's always so inspiring to see international talent go at it on the dance floor– it's fuel for the fire to keep me motivated to dance. Though I didn't get too many shots from the event, most of the action happened off the dance floor, on the streets of New York.

Suicide Kings Crew shot, right outside of the jam in Manhattan– it came out awesome cause I had near-perfect lighting conditions for this moment. I love my crew, and I'm glad I get to do amazing things with them.

For my birthday, we had some yummy steaks and parmesan truffle oil fries from Capital Grille– at the Chrysler building. Before we left the hotel room some "Harana" action went down, and I got my Korean birthday song from some of Wu Hyun's friends.

Combing through Times Square, we ran across this pretty awesome comic store. All comic stores smell the same, and they always bring me back to fond, fantasy-filled childhood memories. I think I owe a large part of my creative career success to my early exposure to the drawings in books like these.

I love a GOOD bowl ramen– possibly more than Naruto. I have my local spot that I swear by (Santouka at Mitsuwa), so I'm always skeptical about places that have so much hype. They always seem to fall short, in one category or another– GOOD ramen is balanced in all of it's ingredients. The verdict: Ippudo NY is DELICIOUS!

New York, I'll be back for you.
